Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or airport assistance preferred
  • Ability to work flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs and pushing wheelchair passengers up to 300 lbs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow safety and security protocols
  • Mandatory airport badge clearance
  • Ability to navigate large and crowded spaces safely
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to technological tools for reporting

Job Qualifications

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and push wheelchair passengers weighing up to 300 lbs
  • Skilled in navigating wheelchairs over various surfaces and in crowded or confined spaces
  • Ability to transfer wheelchair passengers to and from airplane seats
  • Computer and smartphone proficient
  • Capable of standing for extended periods
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete all required training including airport compliance
  • Ability to obtain an airport security badge

Job Duties

  • Transport arriving and departing wheelchair passengers to terminals, gates, and other airport locations
  • Assist passengers with luggage transport
  • Conduct daily inspections of wheelchairs for maintenance and repairs
  • Complete required wheelchair or incident reports
  • Follow safety procedures when assisting passengers in and out of wheelchairs
  • Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
  • Comply with airport security regulations and display required badges
  • Assist with luggage carts as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
