Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or airport assistance preferred
- Ability to work flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs and pushing wheelchair passengers up to 300 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Mandatory airport badge clearance
- Ability to navigate large and crowded spaces safely
- Willingness to learn and adapt to technological tools for reporting
Job Qualifications
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and push wheelchair passengers weighing up to 300 lbs
- Skilled in navigating wheelchairs over various surfaces and in crowded or confined spaces
- Ability to transfer wheelchair passengers to and from airplane seats
- Computer and smartphone proficient
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete all required training including airport compliance
- Ability to obtain an airport security badge
Job Duties
- Transport arriving and departing wheelchair passengers to terminals, gates, and other airport locations
- Assist passengers with luggage transport
- Conduct daily inspections of wheelchairs for maintenance and repairs
- Complete required wheelchair or incident reports
- Follow safety procedures when assisting passengers in and out of wheelchairs
- Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
- Comply with airport security regulations and display required badges
- Assist with luggage carts as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
