Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact in dealing with customers and public
- Able to read, understand and follow instructions in English
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physically able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, carry or hold up to 75 pounds
- Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Complete a criminal background check
- Meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US

- Must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs

- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a citizen of the US or possess necessary authorization from the immigration and naturalization Service (INS)
Job Duties
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Provide special assistance to passengers as requested
- Provide general information and directions to passengers
- Meet inbound arrivals as requested to provide special services such as courtesy chairs and walk assistance through the terminal
- Check equipment thoroughly before use including wheels, locks, seats, back and footrests
- Lock wheels when assisting passengers in or out of courtesy chairs
- Always use both hands when pushing courtesy chairs
- Always back chairs down inclines
- Always request assistance from another employee when transferring passengers from one chair to another if the passenger cannot transfer themselves
- Never take a courtesy chair up or down a stairway or escalator
- Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner
- Be neat and careful when handling other people's property, especially mobility aids and luggage
- Be familiar with all Government, Client, Airport, and Company regulations
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas and maintain cleanliness of immediate work area
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff, and public
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records, reports and files as required
- Must be attired in proper uniform or business attire as directed, with identification visible
- Adhere to company policies and participate in achievement of company objectives
- Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources conscientiously and cost-effectively
- Perform other duties as requested
- Comply with all safety requirements including usage of trained equipment only, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, wearing proper PPE, and attending required safety training
