Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of background investigation
- Pass post-offer pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Eligibility to obtain airport ID through criminal background check
- Ability to stand or walk constantly during shift
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain professional behavior and communication at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within guidelines
- Knowledge of operating and airport procedures
- Ability to work under pressure with high volume general public
Job Duties
- Communicate continuously with the supervisor on duty
- Review daily manning and assignment
- Provide wheelchair services to assigned doors and wait for passengers
- Escort passengers through customs and baggage claim to the curb only
- Call supervisor after service completion and return wheelchair to initial position
- Adhere to all security and safety procedures
- Assist passengers and handle porter services as required
