Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact in dealing with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
- Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- Must be US citizen or possess necessary authorization from immigration and naturalization service

- Familiarity with government, client, airport and company regulations
- Must be physically capable of lifting, stooping, squatting, pushing, standing and bending
- Able to lift, carry or hold up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be either a U.S. citizen or authorized by immigration services
Job Duties
- Provide special assistance to passengers as requested
- Provide general information and directions to passengers
- Meet inbound arrivals as requested to provide special services such as courtesy chairs and walk assistance
- Check equipment thoroughly before use including wheels, locks, seats, back and footrests
- Lock wheels when assisting passengers in or out of courtesy chair
- Always use both hands when pushing courtesy chairs
- Always back chairs down inclines
- Request assistance from another employee when transferring passenger from one chair to another if passenger cannot transfer him or herself
- Never take a courtesy chair up or down a stairway or escalator
- Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner
- Be neat and careful when handling people’s property, especially mobility aids and luggage
- Be familiar with government, client, airport and company regulations
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems, maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and the public
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Utilize appropriate communications and maintain records and reports
- Wear proper uniform or business attire with identification visible
- Adhere to company policies and participate in achievement of company objectives
- Utilize equipment, supplies and resources conscientiously and cost effectively
- Perform other duties as requested
