Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Hold applicable certifications including food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR and first aid
- Proficient with Windows operating systems, spreadsheets and word processing
- Experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, in-room dining and kitchen management
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Capable of making quick and accurate decisions
- Ability to work well in high-pressure situations
- Skilled at problem solving and prevention
- Ability to process complex data and information
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills
- Competent with financial data and basic arithmetic
- Understanding of hotel departmental functions

Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field with a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience
- Or a 4-year college degree and 1 to 2 years of related experience
- Culinary degree with 1 to 2 years of progressive experience
- Holds and maintains certifications like food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR and first aid
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, word processing
- Extensive experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, in-room dining and kitchen management
- Able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly
- Works well under pressure maintaining composure
- Effective at problem handling and prevention
- Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Able to understand financial data and perform basic arithmetic
- Knowledgeable in hotel organization and departmental functions
- Strong communication, reading, writing and computer skills

Job Duties
- Organize, direct, supervise and assist in the preparation and service of all food and beverage based on standardized recipes for all outlets
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation and safety in kitchens, service stations, FOH, BOH and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio
- Plan meals and services while directing and guiding the chef on pricing, banquets and other assignments
- Provide oversight of kitchen staff, outlets, banquet food display merchandising and operations of kitchen, service, beverage and banquet departments
- Handle cash, prepare and deposit cash drops, secure and balance bank
- Interact and occasionally have unsupervised contact with guests and colleagues
- Access and control sensitive areas including hotel safe, master keys, guest rooms, storage and liquor room
- Drive safely on behalf of the company for business reasons
- Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility and represent company with good character and sound judgement
