Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of advanced cooking skills required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to read, write and speak effectively
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
- Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
- Ability to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment
- Work involves moderate exposure to hot and cold temperatures and loud noises
- Moderate physical activity including handling objects up to 50 pounds
- Follow basic safety precautions in a work environment involving some physical risk
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Seneca Nation license
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Employment contingent upon favorable background investigation and drug screening
- Preference given to qualified members of the Seneca Nation of Indians or qualified Native American candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act

Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary education or experience preferred
- Three years of advanced cooking skills required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Excellent communication skills including reading, writing and speaking effectively
- Ability to interact well with customers and employees
- Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
Job Duties
- Insure food items are properly stored including raw materials and prepared items
- Inspect all outgoing orders are properly prepared i.e. portion control and garnished correctly for presentation
- Insure all items are available for consumption by guests prior to restaurant opening including soups, sauces and gravies
- Take inventory of all meats and seafood with knowledge of required food items and amounts
- Coordinate food orders to proper cooks
- Prepare all food items adhering strictly to recipe manual specifications
- Review production schedule to determine variety and quantity of food requirements
- Complete production sheets and records in conjunction with Sous Chefs
- Maintain clean work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers and grills
- Maintain proper food temperatures complying with regulatory and ServSafe standards
- Properly label, date and rotate all products to ensure safety and sanitation
- Command all kitchen stations such as roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté and high volume cooking
- Work with Sous and Room Chefs in conjunction with daily operations
- Teach and mentor Cooks and Production Cooks
- Work in harmony with others under strenuous conditions
- Arrive well-groomed in full uniform and on time with badge visible
- Provide prompt, friendly and courteous food and beverage service
- Maintain hospitable, friendly and polite demeanor using positive body language
- Comply with information security policies including Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy
- Provide exceptional customer service communicating pleasantly and professionally
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to all policies
- Complete all required training programs within 9 months of employment
- Attend all necessary meetings
- Adapt duties and responsibilities as required
- Work hours based on a 24-hour schedule
