Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of intermediate cooking skills
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino food and beverage operation
  • Ability to handle objects up to fifty pounds
  • Able to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must maintain a valid Seneca Nation license
  • Employment contingent on background check and drug screening
  • Must complete required training within nine months
  • Must follow safety precautions
  • Ability to work in a loud and hot environment
  • Must be well-groomed and wear full uniform with badge
  • Preference given to qualified members of the Seneca Nation or qualified Native American candidates

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary education or experience preferred
  • Two years of intermediate cooking skills required
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Excellent communication skills including reading, writing and speaking effectively
  • Ability to interact well with customers and employees
  • Ability to resolve problems in a diplomatic and tactful manner

Job Duties

  • Rotate between cooking stations and restaurants in hot temperature areas
  • Must have command of all kitchen stations including roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté, and high volume cooking
  • Maintain proper food temperatures in accordance with ServSafe standards
  • Properly label, date, and rotate all products to ensure safety and sanitation
  • Review production schedules to determine food requirements
  • Assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily cooking activities
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests
