Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • Must have an outgoing friendly personality and a cheerful accommodating disposition
  • Must remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
  • Be organized and utilize time well
  • Must be a team player
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Customer service and at least three years of fine dining server experience preferred
  • Proficient in large tray service
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • Must be able to stand walk and move through all areas of the dining room for a lengthy period of time
  • Must be able to carry trays which may weigh up to fifty pounds
  • Must be able to assist with special needs of customers
  • Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with guests management employees and members of the business community in all situations

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time well-groomed in full uniform with badge on upper left side of uniform
  • Provide prompt friendly and courteous service of food and beverage to all guests
  • Be hospitable friendly and polite with all guests co-workers and management using positive body language
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu wine list and daily features
  • Serve and clear tables brush crumbs from tables replenish beverages as needed
  • Inquire about guest satisfaction within one to two minutes of main course being served
  • Handle check and cashiering procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain attentive posture nearby make eye contact smile and have a discreet non-interruptive demeanor
  • Perform duties assigned by manager or shift manager
  • Assist all employees in performing their duties and work as one team
  • Work in designated area be attentive to guests at all times and exceed guest's expectations
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures pertaining to liquor laws
  • Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons in a pleasant friendly and professional manner
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory departmental and company policies
  • Complete all required training programs within nine months from commencement of employment
