Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred
- strong customer service skills
- basic math skills for handling payments
- must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- reliable transportation to work
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- clearance to pass Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand and walk 100% of shift
- can reach, bend, and stoop frequently
- able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks or notes
- complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program per company and state regulations
- complete and pass food safety certification per company and state regulations
- ability to work flexible hours
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and running food and drinks as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus, current promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions clearly and verbally
- accurately enter orders into POS system
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- collect guests’ payments including credit cards, cash, or gift cards, ensure transactions are correct using POS, calculate and deliver correct change promptly
- perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, and assigned sidework
- pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests
- greet guests at the curbside pickup area
