Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must be able to pass required background and health screenings
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform job duties including standing and lifting
- Commitment to upholding company standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand walk 100 percent of shift
- Can reach bend stoop frequently
- Able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak read and write English
- Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks notes etc
- Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigans and Florida statutes
- Complete and pass food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigans and Florida statutes
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance food drink running etc as needed
- Be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus and items current food and or drink promotions and specials and answer guests questions verbally and clearly
- Accurately enter orders into POS system
- Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- Collect guests payments credit cards cash or gift cards only ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
- Perform shift changes opening closing duties assigned sidework
- Pack and verify all togo orders with guest
- Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
