Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for managing wait list and phone inquiries
- Must complete required certifications such as Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification
Job Qualifications
- Can reach, bend, and stoop frequently
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program
- Complete and pass food safety certification program
Job Duties
- Displays and maintains a cheerful and courteous temperament
- Displays a neat and clean professional image
- Greets guests with Flanigan's "Smile Talk"
- Engages guests in Flanigan's "Smile Talk" while escorting them to their table in a timely manner
- Efficiently manages the wait list for seating
- Communicates guest questions or concerns to manager on duty
- Keeps foyer, host station, and wait area clean and free of debris
- Restocks and cleans menus
- Restocks and maintains restroom cleanliness
- Answers telephone within four rings and directs guests or answers questions
- Concludes guests' visit with Flanigan's "Smile Talk"
- Performs shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
