Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 30 certified
  • Minimum 5 years of related health and safety experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US federal program site access
  • US person status
  • Local applicant preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Professional certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in health and safety
  • Some supervisory experience
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Experience in heavy construction preferred
  • Prior federal government project experience highly desired
  • Ability to pass background checks for federal site access

Job Duties

  • Advise and assist senior construction site representatives in managing ESHARP and SH&E processes
  • Manage a team of safety specialists
  • Inspect job sites to identify and correct safety hazards
  • Initiate and conduct accident investigations including root cause analysis
  • Represent management during safety inspections by regulatory authorities or clients
  • Review and distribute safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide technical assistance for safety planning
