Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field or equivalent experience
- OSHA 30 certified
- Minimum 5 years of related health and safety experience
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain US federal program site access
- US person status
- Local applicant preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field or equivalent experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- Professional certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in health and safety
- Some supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Experience in heavy construction preferred
- Prior federal government project experience highly desired
- Ability to pass background checks for federal site access
Job Duties
- Advise and assist senior construction site representatives in managing ESHARP and SH&E processes
- Manage a team of safety specialists
- Inspect job sites to identify and correct safety hazards
- Initiate and conduct accident investigations including root cause analysis
- Represent management during safety inspections by regulatory authorities or clients
- Review and distribute safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions
- Conduct risk assessments and provide technical assistance for safety planning
