Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and vehicle insurance if driving for company business
  • Attend GM Core class and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comply with federal, state and local employment laws
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain safe working conditions and participate in safety training

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of company's operating systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to analyze profit and loss (P&L) and take corrective measures
  • Strong supervisory and management practices
  • Effective planning and budgeting skills
  • Interviewing and training experience
  • Understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business and technical documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Math skills including basic algebra and geometry
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities
  • Serve-Safe certification within 90 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Manages sales goals versus budget and prior year
  • Executes national and local marketing programs and new product roll-outs
  • Develops and implements plans to resolve unfavorable trends and enhance sales
  • Communicates sales performance and anticipated variances to District Manager and store management team
  • Builds sales by promoting customer satisfaction
  • Manages profit goals versus budget and prior year
  • Manages food, labor and paper costs and other controllable expenses
  • Tracks waste levels using established procedures and monitoring crew position procedures
  • Processes crew applications and sets up interviews, checks references
  • Manages and resolves performance issues including counseling and disciplining employees
  • Ensures the execution of the restaurant's overall Human Resources programs
  • Achieves and maintains Sparkle certification through the execution of Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards
  • Trains and executes all food safety procedures and ensures compliance with Health Department regulations
  • Provides proper training and development in compliance with the Company's standards
  • Ensures store compliance with Company operating policies and procedures
  • Evaluates store performance and implements action plans to improve store ratings
  • Ensures execution of Company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product and equipment
  • Manages store inventory including counts, levels, targets and waste
  • Completes all administrative requirements and reports
  • Manages employee files, payroll records and other Company records
  • Trains and monitors crew in cash and product inventory controls
  • Maintains safe working conditions and ensures building and equipment maintenance
  • Performs all other job-related duties as may be assigned or required
