Job Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Preferably six months of experience in a related field
- Knowledge about community resources and events
- Ability to develop and plan activities independently
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Self-motivation and teamwork skills
- Valid Montana driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to follow health and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of previous work experience in a similar setting preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and events
- Ability to develop, plan, and coordinate activities independently
- Basic computer skills including calendar and poster creation
- Ability to work under time deadlines efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and engage a diverse resident population
- Valid Montana driver’s license and good driving record
- Self-motivated with ability to work individually and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate activities for residents in multi-levels of care
- Create, enhance, and maintain a culture of health, fitness, and overall wellness
- Maintain and improve wellness and life enrichment programs with innovation
- Contribute to developing and maintaining resident participation and engagement
- Portray an energetic, upbeat, vibrant attitude to enhance resident motivation and participation
- Participate in and cultivate community relationships and outreach events
- Understand and incorporate the Seven Dimensions of Wellness in program planning
- Coordinate and transport residents via campus vehicles for off-campus activities
- Lead a variety of exercise classes and group activities
- Complete necessary documentation
- Maintain daily contact with residents, staff, volunteers, family members, and guests
- Maintain relationships between community members, visitors, guests, and vendors
- Create calendars, make posters, and write daily newsletters for residents
- Follow safety rules and keep activity and storage areas clean
- Engage in Eden Alternative philosophy and provide excellent customer service
- Follow health policies including TB testing and influenza vaccinations
- Attend mandatory in-services
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Life
