Job Requirements

  • associates degree or Administrative Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • minimum of three years experience preferably in a medical practice setting
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • proficiency with scheduling and billing software
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • serve as front desk receptionist
  • support Nurse Practitioner and primary care practice with daily administrative and clerical functions
  • answer phones and schedule appointments
  • fax and scan documents
  • respond to patient and resident needs
  • complete data entry
  • assist with billing, claims processing, denials, and rejections
  • communicate with Medicare and other insurances
  • collaborate with nursing staff to ensure smooth and efficient practice operations
  • serve as the central point of contact for residents, families, staff, and others
