Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field or certification as personal trainer or group exercise trainer
  • Rock Steady Boxing coaching certification preferred
  • Passion for working with older adults
  • Experience in wellness, fitness, recreation, or therapeutic activities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organizational and engagement skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participation
  • Creativity and enthusiasm
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Design and lead diverse wellness programs including fitness, spiritual, and social activities
  • Teach and lead Rock Steady Boxing classes for the community
  • Partner with members to tailor programs supporting independence and whole-person wellness
  • Track resident participation and outcomes to enhance program quality
  • Assist with community-wide initiatives such as health fairs and intergenerational events
