Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area preferred
- Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred
- Ability to work full time and maintain flexible schedule
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to lead group activities and motivate participants
- Knowledge of wellness program development and implementation
Job Duties
- Schedule monthly calendar including 5-7 exercises or activities per day including group exercises and activities
- Participate as lead instructor for wellness sessions
- Market wellness programs to encourage resident participation
- Attend weekly or monthly staff meetings for updates on special events or program information
- Keep track of participation levels and progress of residents
- Collaborate with therapy team to provide optimal patient care
- Support and promote holistic wellness principles
