Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to learn about nutrition, supplements, and dietary needs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail or customer service-oriented environment preferred
- Ability to learn and gain knowledge of nutrition, supplements, herbs, and homeopathy
- Ability to read and interpret product labels accurately
- Knowledge of or ability to learn about common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Stay current of wellness product knowledge and share information with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure the Wellness Department is well stocked, clean, organized, rotated and merchandised appropriately
- Maintain proper signage and pricing of items
- Assist customers in selecting products related to nutrition, supplements, herbs, and body care
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment
- Support community engagement through store initiatives
