Job Description

Job Requirements
- 18 years of age with reliable transportation
- High school graduate or GED
- 5+ years customer service experience preferably in an office environment
- Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling

- Basic proficiency with technology and payment systems
Job Duties
- Greets members and guests warmly directing them to their destination and answering questions
- Engages with current and prospective members by providing up-to-date information about programs events and what’s happening around the JCC answering inquiries about activities through the building
- Answers membership questions and assists with new member transactions
- Works with members to establish user confidence with JCC technology or process changes that may occur
- Responds directly to member feedback with follow through to appropriate departments and additional follow-up to member
- Answers phones screens and directs calls provides information to callers and or takes and relays messages when appropriate
- Maintains accurate cash drawer reconciling payments and cash at the end of shift
