Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, and process all guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • Secure payment and verify and adjust billing
  • Activate and file room keys
  • Process guest requests and relay messages
  • Print contingency lists and maintain guest records
  • Identify and explain room features and provide information about amenities and local areas
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and resolve issues
  • Run and review daily reports and logs
  • Complete cashier and closing reports
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests
  • Count and secure bank at shift start and end
  • Process all payment types and adjustments
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of guest reports of theft
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Welcome guests and anticipate service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Support team goals and comply with quality assurance standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
