Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • able to communicate effectively in English
  • physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
  • capable of lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds
  • able to assist residents with mobility needs
  • criminal background clearance required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency level
  • positive and energetic attitude toward working with seniors
  • physically active and capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping for extended periods
  • ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds
  • experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • be present and engage with residents in the dining room
  • prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
  • bus tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
  • communicate concerns about residents' dietary habits to supervisors and wellness team
  • assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
  • foster an environment where residents can connect and enjoy their dining experience
