Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work day and evening shifts on weekends
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and coworkers
- Ability to follow health and safety policies
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work collaboratively with a team
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a server, host, or hostess role preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic knowledge of food service operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Ensure daily coverage by Health Services staff coordination
- Assist Culinary Services Director with team training and policy instruction
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Direct resident, family, and guest feedback to leadership
- Oversee completion of server pre-service and post-service tasks
- Assign tables and sections to Health Services staff
- Maintain cleanliness and restaurant-style setup of the dining room and tables
- Reset tables, linens, and replenish condiments
- Ensure drink stations and salad bars are properly set
- Take and oversee meal orders with excellent customer service
- Keep drinks filled per residents' requests
- Supervise service to ensure meal choices are met
- Manage guest reservations and prepare private dining areas
- Complete cleaning checklists and responsibilities
- Arrange and deliver room trays as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Foster a positive customer service environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
