Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food production and service, sanitation, and safety
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Ability to work in stressful situations with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to assist in lifting residents over 100 pounds with help
- Strong communication skills
- Compassion for elderly residents
- Knowledge of hazardous materials guidelines
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with food production, service, sanitation, and safety
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

- Knowledge of SDS sheets and hazardous material guidelines

Job Duties
- Ensure adequate daily coverage provided by Health Services staff and other assigned staff for meal service by communicating with Culinary Services Director, Health Services Director, and Executive Director
- Assist Culinary Services Director with training and instruct staff on food service policies and procedures
- Attend staff meetings as required by leadership
- Direct resident, family, and guest feedback to community leadership
- Ensure all server pre-service and post-service work is completed by delegating to Health Services staff
- Assign sections and tables to Health Services staff to ensure timely service
- Oversee cleaning and preparation of dining room and tables maintaining restaurant style appearance
- Reset tables, linens, and replenish condiments
- Set drink station and salad bar per department policies
- Take meal orders and ensure excellent customer service
- Ensure drinks are filled and served according to residents and guests requests
- Manage guest reservations and prepare Private Dining Room as needed
- Complete cleaning checklists and responsibilities as per community policies
- Set up and deliver room trays as required
- Maintain confidentiality and support residents rights
- Maintain professional appearance and positive customer service environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
