Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with food production and service, sanitation, and safety
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to assist in lifting residents over 100 pounds with help
- Ability to work weekends and flexible day and evening shifts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage stressful situations effectively
- Must maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with food production and service, sanitation, and safety
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassion for elderly residents
- Knowledge of hazardous materials guidelines
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellent organizational, motivational, and leadership skills

Job Duties
- Ensures adequate daily coverage provided by Health Services staff for meal service by coordinating with Culinary Services Director and community leadership
- Assists with training Health Services staff on food service policies and procedures
- Attends staff meetings as required
- Directs resident, family, and guest feedback to community leadership
- Oversees completion of all server pre-service and post-service work
- Assigns sections and tables to Health Services staff
- Manages dining room setup including table resetting and replenishing condiments
- Monitors drink station and salad bar setup
- Takes and ensures accurate meal orders with excellent customer service
- Ensures drinks are filled as requested and tables are served promptly
- Manages guest reservations and prepares Private Dining Room
- Completes cleaning checklists per community policies
- Sets up and delivers room trays as needed
- Maintains confidentiality of resident information
- Maintains professional appearance and positive customer service environment
- Performs additional duties as assigned
