Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in event coordination or customer service
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages and co-workers
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Adherence to company policies and safety standards
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and customer service experience
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication and listening

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct party craft projects and perform activities like face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and ensure client satisfaction
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after events
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Engage customers on Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- Assist with omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
- Interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
- Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, and restroom maintenance
