Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Working knowledge of office machines including copier, fax, and phone systems
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and staff
  • Basic computer knowledge with aptitude to learn company applications
  • Physical ability to stand, lift up to 30 pounds unassisted, bend, stoop, push, pull and twist

Job Duties

  • Directs residents and guests to the appropriate office for assistance, resident room, or activity area as needed
  • Answers the telephone promptly and directs calls to appropriate party, minimizing holding time
  • Provides clerical support to all departments as assigned by supervisor
  • Copies, collates, and staples materials as requested
  • Maintains personnel records including background checks, E-verify and I-9s
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing mail
  • Assists with bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable functions
