Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
- None required for licenses or certification
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff
- Knowledge of infection control techniques
- Ability to be patient and polite
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other facility areas
- Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them securely
- Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
- Ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Conduct job responsibilities in line with company code of conduct, policies, procedures, and applicable laws and standards
