Job Duties
- Welcome and accommodate guests, visitors, and staff in a warm and courteous manner
- oversee the guest registration and check-out process
- promote hotel services and amenities and provide helpful information
- greet guests and visitors professionally and assist them promptly
- register guests efficiently for lodging and manage account setup accurately
- accommodate room changes expediently
- maintain high knowledge of hotel rates, services, and amenities
- provide information on city attractions and local events
- resolve guest issues empathetically and implement service recovery
- settle guest accounts and process payments following accounting procedures
- communicate courteously and provide accurate information to guests and coworkers
- ensure proper key control and security measures
- participate in safety and security training and maintain knowledge of protocols
- collaborate with other front office and administration staff demonstrating teamwork
- communicate guest information to designated departments
- handle lost and found items appropriately
- report accidents, injuries, maintenance issues to management
- adhere to uniform and grooming standards
- maintain confidentiality of all guest and hotel information
- actively participate in ongoing training
- perform other duties as assigned
