Our company operates vibrant, seasonal ready-to-eat food booths that bring fresh and delicious meals to customers at local farmers markets and community events. We specialize in serving high-quality food prepared with care and passion at the City Park Farmer's Market on Saturdays and the expanded Sunday booth at the South Pearl Street Farmer's Market. Additionally, we participate in various festivals and special events throughout the season, enhancing community experiences with our flavorful offerings. Job Requirements

ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs
ability to stand, bend, and move for the entire shift
comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, wind, snow, rain
ability to work most Saturdays and all Sundays through the season or all Sundays with availability for other shifts
reliable attendance and punctuality
positive and cooperative attitude
adherence to food safety standards

Job Qualifications

two years of professional kitchen or food prep experience preferred
ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
strong organizational skills and attention to detail
comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
team-oriented, reliable, and have a positive attitude
ability to stay calm and flexible in a dynamic environment
a clean driving record and the ability to drive a van are preferred but not required

Job Duties

Perform light pre-market preparation of food at our kitchen
assist in packing, organizing, and transporting food, equipment, and supplies for market days
set up the market booth including tent, tables, signage, cooking equipment, and display items
ensure all food is handled, stored, and served in accordance with food safety standards
support cooking, plating, and customer service as needed during market hours
help Front of House lead pack pastry orders and serve drinks
maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace throughout the shift
break down the booth at the end of service including cleaning, packing, and loading out all equipment and supplies
assist with post-market tasks such as restocking and cleaning
communicate clearly with team members and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment
adapt to changing needs and take on new responsibilities as the operation evolves
