Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English effectively
  • Criminal background clearance
  • Physically active and able to meet the demands of the role
  • Availability to work scheduled weekend shifts
  • Commitment to health and safety standards in food service
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Possess current Food Handlers Card as per Department of Health
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop during shifts
  • Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in close proximity to heat sources and cold storage
  • Ability to work indoors primarily with occasional outdoor event participation

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
  • Provide exceptional quality food that is attractively presented and served in a timely fashion
  • Ensure health protocols including hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures are followed
  • Familiarize with residents preferences and dietary needs
  • Participate in resident orientations to understand and meet their expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver an excellent dining experience
