Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays
- effective communication skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- commitment to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age
- eagerness to learn and grow as a food service professional
- experience working in a team environment, ideally in a culinary setting
- knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food on a buffet
- ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
- knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines
- able to operate kitchen equipment as needed
Job Duties
- prepare and serve resort-style food and beverages
- present high-quality and appetizing entrees personalized to residents' preferences
- maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety
- cook eggs and omelets as ordered
- collaborate with the Culinary and Dining Services team
- greet residents with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- live by core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
