Job Requirements
- Education at a high school diploma level or higher
- Previous experience in officiating weddings or similar ceremonial roles
- Strong public speaking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of legal requirements for wedding ceremonies
- Experience or willingness to provide spiritual or emotional support
- Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of event planning and vendor coordination
Job Qualifications
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills for clear, empathetic interactions with clients and team members
- Writing skills for creating personalized ceremony scripts and messages
- Event planning experience to coordinate logistics smoothly on the day of the ceremony
- Leadership qualities to guide couples through their wedding process confidently
- Ability to handle crisis intervention, conflict management, and crisis management with tact and professionalism
- Background in Christian counseling or related spiritual support is a plus
- Mentoring abilities for training or guiding aspiring officiants or volunteers
- Compassionate demeanor suitable for bereavement support, hospice care, or mentoring roles
Job Duties
- Officiate wedding ceremonies in accordance with legal requirements and personal preferences of the couple
- Collaborate with clients to customize ceremony scripts that reflect their values and beliefs
- Provide guidance on wedding planning logistics and coordinate with other vendors as needed
- Offer spiritual or emotional support to couples during pre-wedding consultations and rehearsals
- Deliver engaging speeches or readings that resonate with the couple's vision
- Assist in crisis intervention or conflict management if unforeseen issues arise during ceremonies
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the integrity of the officiant role at all times
