Job Requirements

  • knowledge of hotel policies and procedures
  • ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • strong communication and negotiation skills
  • must drive to outside sales calls
  • excellent comprehension and literacy to develop marketing plans
  • flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • preferred 2-3 years previous hotel sales experience
  • knowledge of hotel sales procedures
  • excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • strong negotiation and influencing abilities
  • ability to manage extensive information
  • effective listening skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • selling and servicing wedding blocks and small social groups
  • soliciting, closing, and contracting wedding business
  • preparing proposals and contracts
  • coordinating rooming lists and event orders
  • conducting site inspections
  • maintaining client and vendor relationships
  • collaborating with operations team to ensure exceptional customer experience
