Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in event coordination hospitality or a related customer service field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts calmly and effectively
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work weekends evenings and holidays based on event schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Familiarity with ceremony structure timing and etiquette preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of the wedding ceremony to ensure flawless execution
  • Oversee setup and layout of ceremony spaces ensuring décor and logistics align with client expectations
  • Greet and guide wedding parties officiants and guests with professionalism and care
  • Cue processional and recessional timing to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and on schedule
  • Support the wedding coordination and banquet teams in pre-ceremony and post-ceremony transitions
  • Review ceremony details in advance to confirm timing participant roles and special requests
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot potential issues to preserve a stress-free experience for the couple and guests
  • Collaborate with venue staff florists musicians officiants and other vendors
  • Represent Saint John's Resort's hospitality standards with warmth professionalism and attention to detail
