Job Requirements

  • High-school degree preferred
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training
  • Supervisory experience managing a team of managers or in another supervisory role
  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel
  • Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
  • Knowledgeable about county regulations
  • Ability to implement BSRG dining standards
  • Ability to read and interpret food service industry periodicals
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet high work standards
  • Initiative and ability to make independent decisions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Maintain organization of details for booked catering events
  • Provide full coordination for the host on the day of the event
  • Support the Catering Sales Manager
  • Assist in initial client inquiries regarding events
  • Arrange meetings with clients to establish relationships and organize event details
  • Organize and maintain accurate files of previous and upcoming events
  • Direct and organize team members involved in event execution
  • Assist Food and Beverage team
  • Ensure event sheets are updated regularly and forwarded to appropriate managers
  • Provide full day coordination of ceremonies, weddings, and public events including greeting hosts on arrival
