Job Requirements

  • More than two years of post-high school education
  • 3+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, catering, or high-end event management
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously
  • proficiency in event management software and banquet operations
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • ability to travel to meet clients on and off premises
  • ability to read detailed event orders and contracts
  • sufficient physical stamina to tour properties, climb stairs, and handle event setup
  • basic office equipment operation skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients after initial inquiry and contract through post-event follow-up, providing a seamless and personalized planning experience
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to capture event vision, preferences, and expectations, translating them into detailed event orders and plans
  • Design tailored menus in partnership with the culinary team, ensuring offerings reflect both client desires and the hotel’s culinary excellence
  • Prepare, review, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event diagrams with meticulous accuracy
  • Lead pre-event planning meetings with hotel departments to align on service expectations, timelines, and guest priorities
  • Oversee event setup, décor installation, and vendor activity, ensuring all elements reflect the hotel’s luxury standards
  • Provide hands-on event day leadership, guiding banquet staff, liaising with vendors, and troubleshooting issues discreetly
