Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event planning or related field
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • valid driver's license
  • sales experience
  • proficiency with scheduling and proposal software

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in wedding and event planning
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • proficiency in sales and client relations
  • creative problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of floral design and event decor preferred
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Assist in responses to inquiries and schedule consultations
  • create proposals based on client vision
  • maintain a pipeline of inquiries and prospects
  • assist with event execution, installation, and take down
  • assist in set ups and pulling props from warehouse
  • assist with contracts, deposits, and final payments including reconciliations
  • review floral selections with relevant departments
  • maintain timely contact with clients for feedback and satisfaction
  • build relationships with vendors and network in the event industry
  • research and stay updated on wedding industry trends
  • interact professionally with employees, vendors, and clients
