Job Requirements
- must be able to bend, sit, walk, and lift 40 lbs
- available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed based on event schedules
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, business or related field preferred
- 3+ years' experience in hospitality or event coordination
- knowledgeable with color and design with an eye for creativity
- event floral design experience preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, and Curate
- outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- preferred background in event, restaurant, hotel or entertainment industry
Job Duties
- assist in responses to inquiries and schedule consultations
- create proposals based on client's personalized vision in a timely manner
- maintain a pipeline of inquiries and prospects while proactively seeking new business
- assist with execution, installation, and take down of events
- help with set ups and pulling props from company warehouse
- assist with contracts, deposits, and final payment processing including account reconciliations
- review floral selections with flower buyer, design, and production manager to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials
- maintain timely contact with clients to receive feedback and ensure satisfaction
- build relationships with vendors and network within the wedding and event industry
- research and stay updated on wedding industry trends to maintain competitive advantage
- interact professionally with employees, vendors, and clients in a team environment
