The Wedding & Events Coordinator position is offered by an established venue that hosts a variety of seasonal events, including winter group ski and tubing sales as well as summer weddings and concerts. This organization is dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences through meticulous event planning and seamless execution. As a full-time, year-round role, the coordinator is integral to handling client relationships, managing event logistics, and ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • prior event experience preferred
  • TIPS Alcohol Certification preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • available weekends, holidays, and variable hours
  • comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • must have solid 4WD or AWD transportation

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary contact from inquiry through post-event follow-up
  • coordinate weddings, group events, and special occasions
  • conduct client meetings, tastings, rehearsals, and final detail reviews
  • prepare contracts, process payments, and maintain event timelines and floor plans
  • communicate and confirm details with vendors
  • serve as on-site vendor contact
  • ensure all event logistics and accommodations are prepared in advance
  • oversee setup, execution, and teardown
  • confirm staffing levels and lead event teams
  • coordinate food and beverage needs
  • resolve issues quickly to ensure smooth, high-quality events
  • maintain organized event files and documentation
  • support venue projects and space improvements as needed
