Job Description
The Woldumar Nature Association is a well-established 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to educating people about the natural environment. Since 1963, Woldumar has provided educational resources and natural experiences to the Greater Lansing Community and beyond. Serving over 6000 students annually, Woldumar offers seasonal day camps, field study programs, and community educational events to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature. Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 35lbs
- must be available most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- able to work flexible hours
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Arranging tables and chairs, decorating, hosting, and cleaning up after weddings and other private event rentals
- working the day of events performing tasks such as greeting guests, setting up sound equipment, driving a golf cart to assist guests, supervising a bonfire, and helping with other assigned duties
- cleaning classrooms, banquet areas, and restrooms to prepare facilities for the next guest
- giving tours to potential rental clients
- communicating event details effectively with clients, vendors, and visitors
- assisting in the event planning process
- answering and returning phone calls and emails promptly and accurately
