Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of luxury sales and service experience
- ability to frequently sit or stand for extended periods
- ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds
- manual dexterity to operate office equipment and computers
- visual and auditory abilities to read documents and communicate effectively
- ability to walk and move safely during site visits and events
- ability to work in varying environments including hotel properties and event venues
- flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on event demands
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of luxury sales and service experience
- knowledge of Versa, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce system software is desirable
Job Duties
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with repeat clients to encourage loyalty and future business
- be the on-site leader for all weddings and events
- maintain an organized and up-to-date client database for accurate records and communication
- represent the Sanctuary within the Charleston community by networking and maintaining visibility among local partners and event professionals
- communicate event details, changes, and updates to relevant hotel departments for seamless execution and guest satisfaction
- collaborate with event and culinary teams to design and coordinate exceptional catering experiences
- conduct pre- and post-event meetings with event and culinary teams to ensure events meet or exceed guest expectations and identify opportunities for improvement
- maintain accurate booking activity, client communication, and billing details within the Hotel Sales and Catering software system
- gather and respond to client feedback to enhance service quality and foster long-term relationships
- support the Director of Catering & Conference Services with catering sales initiatives including site tours and event proposals
