Job Requirements

  • Degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years experience managing and developing web content
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Omniture and Google Analytics
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • UX and UI experience
  • WordPress experience
  • Strong command of language and grammar

Job Duties

  • Ensure all content on membership and event websites is up-to-date, including agendas, speaker bios, messaging, video, images
  • Coordinate the process of posting content, working with Programming and Events teams to collect assets
  • Help develop new ideas for content that will enhance the experience on our event websites
  • Understand and use Google keywords to write meta descriptions
  • High-level understanding of analytics and tagging to convey how content is performing, and to optimize the websites based on this analysis
  • Upload content into a CMS (WordPress)
  • Liaise with internal developers on uploading content that cannot be done via WordPress, or to change elements of the web page based on content needs
  • Ability to manage projects through multiple cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving skills when bugs or website glitches happen
