Job Requirements

  • Less than high school diploma
  • Three or more years of related construction experience preferred
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Proficiency in English for written and oral communications
  • Ability to recognize and understand road signs
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures as described in the company's safety manual
  • Ability to perform heavy physical activity and endure outdoor working conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Less than high school diploma
  • Three or more years of related construction experience preferred
  • Proficiency in English for written and oral communications
  • Ability to recognize and understand road signs
  • Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and handle materials

Job Duties

  • Drive a gasoline or diesel truck with a concrete mixer mounted on it
  • Operate the concrete mixer to dump concrete on the grade, into forms, or into concrete pumps or buckets
  • Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machinery
  • Clean mixer drum after unloading concrete
  • Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects
  • Service and make necessary adjustments to equipment for proper operation
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
  • Report unsafe activities to supervisor or Human Resources
  • Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Provide leadership through example and knowledge sharing
  • Perform other duties as assigned
