Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility
- Ability to instill pride and personal responsibility in subordinates
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write correspondence and speak effectively
- Ability to interact well with customers and employees
- Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Computer literate
- Must be able to stand and walk through casino and hotel areas
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
- Must complete all required training within nine months from employment
- Ability to maintain professional work environment and follow attendance guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum six years in food and beverage
- Minimum three years supervisory experience in high-volume restaurant
- Minimum one year as general manager of dining restaurant
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, coaching, and team building skills
- Knowledge of full service dining and food and beverage procedures
- Ability to understand and manage budget
- Ability to evaluate business and statistical reports
- Computer literate including Microsoft office and restaurant systems
- Ability to make decisions and direct others
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
Job Duties
- Implement and maintain upscale standards upon approval of division management
- Train all restaurant staff to perform job duties according to company standards
- Monitor staff performance continually to ensure standards are met or exceeded
- Evaluate, provide feedback, and direct Shift Managers and restaurant staff
- Ensure all products served meet established specifications and standards
- Manage budget to achieve fiscal and performance goals and recommend profitability enhancements
- Maintain rotation of weekly and seasonal specials based on trends and guest feedback
