Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of intermediate cooking skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino food and beverage operation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate exposure to hot and cold temperatures and loud noises
- Ability to work in an environment where smoking is permitted
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary education or experience preferred
- Two years of intermediate cooking skills required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to read, write, and speak effectively
- Ability to interact well with customers and employees
- Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
Job Duties
- Rotate between cooking stations and restaurants in hot temperature areas, each responsible for specific food items and cooking devices including refilling and replacing pans with specified garnish in steam table
- Have command of all kitchen stations including roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté, and high volume cooking
- Maintain proper food temperatures according to regulatory and ServSafe standards
- Properly label, date, and rotate all products to ensure food safety and sanitation
- Have knowledge of recipes, equipment operation, and cooking techniques
- Review production schedule to determine food variety and quantity
- Assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily cooking
- Follow production sheets and records as required
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, and grills
- Use various pots, pans, and equipment for food preparation
- Work harmoniously with others in a strenuous environment
- Report to work well-groomed in full uniform and badge
- Provide prompt, friendly, courteous service of food and beverage to guests
- Be hospitable, friendly, and polite with guests, coworkers, and management
- Maintain understanding of information security policies including Acceptable Use Policy
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies
- Complete required training within nine months
- Attend all necessary meetings
- Duties and responsibilities are subject to change as needed
- Work hours determined by a 24-hour schedule
