Job Requirements

  • Waterpark experience preferred
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • minimum of 3 years experience as a lifeguard instructor or in a waterpark leadership role, preferably in training or supervision
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ability to learn and master tools such as StarGuard Elite Portal, HotSOS, and Mobaro
  • ability to read and write in English
  • bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a lifeguard instructor or in a waterpark leadership role, preferably in training or supervision
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ability to learn and master tools such as StarGuard Elite Portal, HotSOS, and Mobaro
  • ability to read and write in English
  • bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • Lead and facilitate all StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification classes
  • develop and deliver weekly and monthly training meetings as well as ongoing lifeguard and ride attendant in-service
  • manage training records and reports including metrics, audits, and compliance documentation
  • oversee internal audits and assist with external audits
  • coordinate and conduct monthly and quarterly zone certifications
  • perform regular safety equipment inspections and maintain accurate inventory records
  • serve as a mentor and leader for all waterpark associates by promoting professional growth, holding team members accountable, and reinforcing safety and service standards
  • support special projects and training initiatives assigned by leadership
  • maintain a professional and approachable presence while promptly addressing guest or associate concerns
  • ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards
