Job Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Experience living on remote job site
- Equipment operating experience
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Able to stand for up to 12 hours daily
- Must be able to lift the safety regulation maximum and perform repetitive motion duties
- Must pass physical qualification assessment
- Able to deploy to Antarctica for length of contract
- Possible travel to spill school within the US
- US citizenship or permanent residency
- Valid driver's license and passport valid for six months after end of contract

- Equipment operating experience including front-end loaders and forklifts
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Ability to work in a team composed of diverse personalities
- Self-motivated with the ability to maintain flexibility and a positive attitude
- US citizenship or permanent residency
- Valid driver's license and passport valid for six months after end of contract
Job Duties
- Collecting, processing, and loading solid waste and recyclables for shipment
- Operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, articulating forklifts, industrial balers, and wood grinders
- Performing truck weigh station duties during vessel operations
- Utilizing cargo straps, banding, pallet jacks, and power tools
- Supporting the station Spill Team including on-call and night shift duties
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements
