- Have or obtain state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- Basic knowledge of beer and wine
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Job Duties
- Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times
- Makes guests feel appreciated through your actions
- Works as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
- Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the company’s standards at all times
- Mixes, garnishes, and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes
- Preps and prepares food items
- Inputs drink orders into computer immediately, collects money from guests for drinks served and makes change
- Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
- Washes and sterilizes stemware
- Counts drinks guests are served and tracks open bar tabs
- Anticipates guest’s needs and follows the half-full rule when offering another drink
- Remains alert of guest signals and acknowledges guests promptly
- Learns guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks
- Responsibly serves alcohol and remains aware of guests’ state of intoxication
- Prepares bar for theatre opening or closing
- Tracks inventory and spoilage control
- Performs general theatre cleaning and operational tasks as directed by the Manager on duty
- Handles minor customer complaints and calls the manager if the situation is too difficult
- Other duties as assigned
