Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work on shift schedule including weekends and overtime as needed
- Physical ability to move or maneuver slings or carriers up to 220 lbs
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull product weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, pull, and press at shoulder level and below waist area
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands for grasping and manipulations
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain workplace cleanliness
Job Qualifications

- Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy items up to 220 lbs
Job Duties
- Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record and sign the appropriate equipment safety form
- Notify supervisor if machine does not pass safety inspection and do not operate unit
- Retrieve sling from storage and maneuver sling to washer’s rails for loading
- Obtain extracted sling from overhead feed rail when loading dryer and verify each batch ticket
- Stage similar batches together for maximum product and wash utilization
- Position washer or dryer properly and load by untying bottom cord, forcing items into cylinder, closing doors, and setting formulas
- Write ticket information on washer or dryer form and enter weight into SOFTROL for washers
- Re-tie sling after drying and transport to hoist staging area
- Unload washers by removing items into lined carts and move to sling raise area
- Unload dryers by checking moisture levels, removing items, placing batch ticket on top, storing items, and leaving dryer tilted
- Verify moisture retention, proper temperature, and no overload on carts or tubs
- Identify and remove slings with rips or tears
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow best practices in production activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
