Job Requirements
- Candidates must be citizens of one of the NATO member countries
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event coordination or management
- Prior experience managing operational or strategic level events
- Experience working in multinational teams
- Demonstrated stakeholder management
- Proven understanding of event management including facilities, transportation, administrative, security, IT, and logistics
- Experience coordinating events in Europe
- Possession of NATO Secret Security Clearance or national equivalent
- Proficiency in English language per STANAG 6001 standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative tools
- Able to work fully onsite in Norfolk, VA
- Experience with after-action reviews and documenting event management processes
Job Qualifications
- Citizenship of one of the NATO member countries
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of professional event coordination and management experience at operational/strategic level
- Experience managing events with at least 50 people
- Experience in multinational teams
- Stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of all event management elements including facilities, transportation, administrative tasks, security, IT, and logistics
- Familiarity coordinating events in Europe
- NATO Secret Security Clearance or national equivalent
- Proficiency in English as per STANAG 6001 (SLP 4444) standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tool suite and collaborative software
- Experience contributing to after-action reviews and writing event management annexes or related final report sections
- Ability to work fully onsite based on client needs
Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage all administrative, IT, security, facility, transportation, catering, and real-life support for wargame events
- Serve as central point-of-contact for event management and liaise with stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and distribute all event-related documentation including invitations and contact lists
- Ensure venue requirements are surveyed, booked, and configured including floor plans and contingency plans
- Manage participant registration, access control, and security clearances
- Oversee logistical arrangements including transportation, catering, social functions, and secure transport of materials
- Document lessons learned from events and contribute to final wargame report annexes
- Provide status updates and recommendations to Project Manager/Game Director
- Support after-action reviews and refine event procedures
